From the Colleardente pass you follow the military road that runs through the mountainous amphitheater of Monte Saccarello at a constant height of 1500 m. You’ll pass the pastures of Vesignana (1519 m), crossing the path that goes down to Verdeggia, and the former barracks of Finance guard to reach the tunnel carved into the rock. Outside the tunnel, the path leads to the sources of the Argentina stream and back to the military road. From here you’ll cross several waterfalls and bridges, all dominated by forests and large cliffs on the southern slope of Saccarello and Rocca di Barbone. After passing the crossroads towards the Passo della Guardia (1461 m) and the path that leads to the ridge, the road continues in the direction of the Passo del Garezzo.
