Temple of agro-pastoral culture
The Valle dei Maestri (teachers’ valley) originates from the Colle dei Signori and slopes gently down to the Gola della Chiusetta, above Carnino.
The wide valley of glacial origin has been a popular pasture for centuries: tradition has it that the name itself derives from the priest-teachers who took care of the training of the children of the shepherds in the pastures.
