The other house of Christopher Columbus
Chiusanico is a small village in the Valle Impero, surrounded by olive groves.
The main alley, called “carruggio”, turns into a mule track, joining the main path that connects the Passo di San Giacomo to Pizzo d’Evigno.
The discovery of some notarial documents dating back to the fifteenth century brings Chiusanico among the theoretical birthplace of Christopher Columbus.
