Nature and history
Monte Abellio, 1016 mt, hosts an unique biodiversity and important historical remains: traces of a pre-Roman frequentation, possible ruins of an ancient “castelliere” and the walls of a small medieval castle.
On the path leading to the summit there’s a concrete building, probably part of the Vallo Alpino defensive system.
