Between France and Italy
Gola del Corvo, 1403 mt, also called Col du Corbeau, is located along the alpine ridge in the upper part of Val Nervia, at the border between Italy and France.
Here the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri follows the military route connecting Sentiero degli Alpini with Passo Muratone.
Along the route there is a sparse arboreal vegetation, mostly hazel trees, once planted and grown along the cooler parts of the path.
Continuing slightly uphill towards Monte Toraggio, the environment is more and more alpine.
